We made SketchyCraft for our mother.

SketchyCraft started in 2023 with Praxis, a simple timed practice tool we built for our mother, who was returning to watercolor and acrylic painting. She used floral painting as a way to practice meditation.

We built what she needed, then put it on the web.

For a long time, it was a small, lightweight tool. Then, in early 2026, we noticed something unexpected: people we didn't know were coming back every day to practice with it.

We asked them why. Their answers changed what we wanted to build.

We realized that this small tool could become something bigger for artists, creative professionals, students, and anyone trying to make creativity a regular part of life.

So we decided to build SketchyCraft — a place to practice, create, keep your work, and see your creative progress.

We're launching the first version in October 2026 as a beta.

SketchyCraft is built by Shashikant and Saurabh Yadav — brothers and lifelong makers.

Shashikant leads engineering. Saurabh leads product and design.

Just the two of us, building something we believe should exist.

Why we're building it

We care about the impact technology can have on someone's creative life more than how quickly we can grow.

If SketchyCraft helps someone practice for ten minutes, finish a painting, learn something new, or simply keep going — that's meaningful to us.

We started by building something for one person.

Now we're building it for anyone who wants to keep creating.
